Ageing Backwards

My name is George Mantor.

I was born in 1948 and I got old. But I am also a life-long competitive athlete. Based on my experience, I became a maximum performance and longevity consultant.

In this role I have an opportunity to  share what I have learned competing at a high level for over sixty years.

I want you to know that vibrant good health and longevity are not a matter of luck but a path that can be chosen, followed and most importantly scientifically proven. And you can start benefitting at any time in your life.

No drugs, no diets, no expensive elixirs, just our own bodies natural resilience to ageing and disease.

But there’s a problem. We aren’t worth much if we are healthy but a sick and dying population are worth five trillion dollars a year. That is about 18 percent of our total domestic production.

Health care costs 5 trillion dollars a year or $15,000 per person.

5 trillion dollars would build 100 million brand new 1,000 square foot homes, enough for every family in the nation. And that would be just the first year.

Isn’t it ironic that the government shut down of 2025 was over something called the Affordable Care Act?

The ACA doesn’t create affordable health care; it just pushes the cost onto healthy people who are required to have health insurance and who pay again through taxes. We subsidize health insurance for over 150 million Americans through various programs and tax benefits.

The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) reports that taxpayers are on the hook for $1.6 trillion a year.

Since we are swapping adequate housing for health improvement, it is a fair question to ask, how’s it going?

Lousy!

No wait, really lousy! In fact, world class lousy.

According to the Commonwealth Fund

“The U.S. continues to be in a class by itself in the underperformance of its healthcare sector.”

Despite spending more than other nations, having more advanced technologies, and having some of the world’s best caregivers, heart disease, cancer, and diabetes are on the upswing and life expectancy is declining.

Why?

Because in our system, providers and insurers profit when patients require more treatment, not when they are fit and healthy.

In 2022, the top 10 pharmaceutical company CEOs made $28 million/year or more, with the highest paid getting $125 million/year.

$125 million per year is vastly above the normal millionaire threshold and even above the top 0.01% of U.S. earnings.

To do what? Find new ways to decrease efficiency? Would they do that?

What if the entire system was just one enormous cash sucking conspiracy? I found this on the internet.

“Health system-owned retail pharmacies are redefining the landscape of patient care, bridging the gaps in healthcare delivery, and harnessing the power of technology for better health outcomes.

Their unwavering commitment to integration, collaboration, and innovation positions them as invaluable partners in the ongoing pursuit of better health for all.”

Aren’t they wonderful?

And none of it is working. Or is it?

The lack of individual longevity is being exacerbated by virtue of the fact that teenagers now have heart disease and cancer starts sooner in young adults. We are ageing faster at the cellular level.

And everywhere I look I see people so sick that I can diagnose them from a half mile away.

Have you noticed how much money drug companies spend introducing us to new drugs treating things we’ve never heard of.

So it makes sense that for years they have been trying to convince us that being obese is healthy and that beauty is a gasping, wheezing mouth breather.

Look up Vergie Tovar, she’s a “Body Positivity Consultant” for the City of San Francisco. The Health Department.

Whether we want to admit it or not, we know what good health looks like.

This unrelenting campaign of misinformation and mal information is leading predictably to an increase in chronic diseases and an epidemic of premature death.

In the meantime, behaviors which would promote good health and longevity are being discouraged and shamed.

That is why I launched this mission. Once you understand how the human body actually functions, you will make the right choices to enhance maximum performance and longevity.
